Wow, this was amazing - louder and sweatier than I expected, in the best possible way 🥰
So happy to finally have seen カネコアヤノ (Kaneko Ayano) live, and I realised I knew every single song she played. Audience was great and about 90% Japanese, and knew all the songs too 😁

Bit of a Japanese music weekend for me - two very different artists, and really looking forward to both.
Tonight it's the psychedelic legends Acid Mothers Temple, and on Sunday it's カネコアヤノ (Kaneko Ayano), an alternative singer-songwriter who sold out the 14,000+ capacity Tokyo Budokan two nights in a row, but is practically unknown here. -

Love this カネコアヤノ song (and album). Her voice has always been very powerful, but this live version really captures her moving further away from the singer-songwriter terrain to a slightly more noisy territory (I love those last 2 minutes of wig-out).

I really like the new カネコアヤノ (Kaneko Anyano) album, being a bit noisier than much of her previous more singer-songwriter output. The end of this live version is great.
