I've managed to get #Forgejo integrated with #Authelia. I'm now trying to integrate #Kanboard with Authelia as well. Authelia continues to seem pretty decent, in that the error messages are more helpful. Debugging is easier, and I guarantee plenty of troubleshooting awaits those wanting to follow a similar path. It seems that #OIDC integration is still a new-fangled thing to many #OpenSource projects, and it's sort of treated in this second-class-citizen way. Like with Kanboard, OIDC functionality is in a plugin; isn't integrated with stock Kanboard. And even enabling the use of plugins whatsoever is *itself* a second-class feature in Kanboard. #infosec #DataSovereignty

So I tried to get #kanboard set up on #uberspace, but am only getting internal errors (500). Anybody recently set this up on there and can let me know if the lab guide (https://lab.uberspace.de/guide_kanboard/) is still up to date?

Si estas familiarizado con la administracion de proyectos con tableros similares a #Trello, pero buscas una opción #opensource, considera #KANBOARD (https://kanboard.org/). Muy facil de implementar, y de aprender. Hoy en la mañana lo monté sin problemas en mi servidor web en #Hostgator via #Softwaculous. Por la tarde, reunión con el equipo para presentárselos y empezar a utilizarlo.

Im having another look at alternatives to #trello and going to try #kanboard as its small and easy to host and has plugins. Itll be for my own work project management, so little to no collab. Im investigating various r/selfhosted threads for other options. Kanboard gets good feedback here and there.

I have reported a mild #security & #privacy issue in #Kanboard where, if I am not mistaken, the kanban board or task details' URL could probably be leaked to third-party websites as Kanboard does not tell the web browser to use `noreferrer` 😬 I'm surprised nobody noticed this in all these years: https://github.com/kanboard/kanboard/issues/5457

I just realized that I keep asking a lot of questions here to the #HomeLab and the #3DPrinting communities, to which I receive a lot of good info, but they end up getting lost in the timeline. I suppose I need to take some time to compile them all in a few blog posts, so they can be referenced back by other people. I'll put that on my TODO list (on my #SelfHosted #Kanboard 😄).

I'm going to try to push my luck with this UI layout enhancement request in the #Kanboard #opensource #kanban board web app: streamline the layout, and auto-expand the task editor to actually use my screen's available vertical height. Nowadays I write and store all my notes everywhere in #Markdown format using Gedit or GNOME Text Editor; Markdown really has become the ultimate rich text interchange format! I can reuse/paste my notes into #Kanboard, #TikiWiki, and @EvolutionGnome's built-in "Markdown as HTML" #email composer feature. This has skyrocketed my productivity ☺️
