Sometimes I think all you can do in this timeline is to just keep doing the Next Right Thing (an old A.A. concept for how to keep functioning when you are, well, barely functioning! early in sobriety).

Keeping on functioning, doing the next right thing, when your entire government is trying to prevent that, *is* resistance!

If kamma is volitional/intentional action (cetanā), that means it's extremely minute. Every small intentional movement of the body/brain or mind plants a seed (bīja) for the future fruition (phala) of perceiving that one has a body or mind to move.

Here's why #Mahayana has never appealed to me. Their premise seems based on faulty logic to me: that one can possibly, nay, *must*, save all other beings (before attaining Nibbana oneself).

I see moving towards Nibbana as involving getting really good at predominantly dwelling in the right hemisphere of the brain (pls see Iain McGilchrist's awesome "The Master and his Emissary"). But how can we reach into other people's brains and *force* more right-brainedness?
