Pick up the camera and keep it handy.
I rarely seek things to photograph.
As I go about my daily life, sometimes a muse grabs me by the collar, and demands and commands that I take a shot of the thing before me. I obey meekly.
This is from last week, outside The Great American Storage in Kailua-Kona.
The store owner, a smoking hot Caucasian woman with tattoos, came out and told me to get off the sidewalk. When I politely refused, she threatened to call the cops on me. I smiled, and remained on the public sidewalk ( the keyword being "public" ).A few minutes later, she came back and threatened to put curses on me. I was not fazed.
Then, she threatened to call a bunch of Hindu deities on me ( "Kali", "Shiva", etc ).I have never had both legal and spiritual authorities called on me, on the same day. 😆
I was bemusedly reminded of a passage from Shakespeare's, "Tempest"."I can summon the spirits!"
"So can I. But will they come when you summon them?"
This lady seemed to be under the impression that the deities were guard dogs on her leash, that she could sic on me, to violate my right to be on the sidewalk. 😆
