This week's #TuneTuesday theme is #TravelSongs. This is the first song that I thought of:
Ricky Nelson: Travelin' Man (1961)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vGlOuYVTEX4Jerry Fuller originally wrote the song for Sam Cooke, but Cooke's business partner J.W. Alexander turned it down. Happily, the offices of Imperial Records were next door, and the song went to Nelson, who had a #1 hit with it.

"Stand by Me" is a song originally performed in 1961 by American singer-songwriter #BenEKing and written by him, along with #JerryLeiberAndMikeStoller, who together used the pseudonym Elmo Glick. According to King, the title is derived from, and was inspired by, a #spiritual written by #SamCooke and #JWAlexander called "#StandByMe Father", recorded by #theSoulStirrers with #JohnnieTaylor singing lead.
