I thought I did this one last year, but it turned out I didn't :mastomoji:. So this year, let me ensure I'm participating! Because it's the month of #libreoffice!

Why do I love it? Because it meets all my office needs, is #free, #opensource, and #privacy friendly. I'm using it for private use and work, and despite my colleagues using MS Office I never had issues.

Oh, and because my grandpa took years before he even realised he didn't use MS Office. Because it #justworks and is so #easy to use.

So if you wanna hire someone who’s good on a team, is mission oriented, and is used to having a high bar. Hire someone who worked at Justworks. Engineering, operations, product, customer service (incredibly high-quality customer service) they’re all good.

If you see Justworks on their resume, give them a second look.

Az Apple Január 27-én 15 éve indította el a Books (anno iBooks) appját és szolgáltatását. Azóta nem sikerült megoldani hogy a reading list normálisan synceljen eszközök között iCloudon keresztül. Tegnap telefonon hozzá adtam egy könyvet, iPadre mai napig nem sikerült átjutnia. @georgespolitzer honestly switch games have had this experience for me recently too it's been really great, even with the official takedowns it #JustWorks

@gernot I was trying AirPlay Receiver, seems like it neither works with hotspot over the air, or hotspot over cable.

Might work with both devices on Wifi, but that's not an option on this train, it's crap for internet access.

Fell back to not charging the phone. Maybe the annoying loud people that made me want music will get off before the phone battery dies :)

Likely happening because I am on an older macOS, despite the generic "connection failed" message from AirPlay.

Anyone out there doing Go (or polyglot with Go) monorepos?

I am struggling with single module vs multi module.

Single go.mod #justworks but doesn't work if your mono repo grows > 512MB. go.work + multimod breaks with new modules and with pushing multiple changes.

Both are horrible to work with with Docker.

The same here (openSUSE/MicroOS with Sway and Firefox from Flatpak). No problems whatsoever, #JustWorks .

Fore those on #macOS for whom "move focus to next window" does not work (there are *many* threads out there): Go to "System Preferences" -> "Keyboard" -> "Shortcuts" -> "Keyboard" and hold the option key whilst left-clicking the shortcut, then re-enter Command+`.

Suddenly it woks.

Apple. Because it #JustWorks.

I've never had occasion to peek under the hood of #djbdns; it Just Worked and that was enough for me. So I'm a little surprised by that design.

I would have thought the key would be `<domain>-<recordtype>`, at least.

I’m not exactly sure how they managed it but Apple have somehow disabled my backspace key in text fields when adding an event in the web version of Calendar on icloud.com using Firefox on Fedora Silverblue.

Of course, I could just be typing it wrong…

(Delete still works so I guess there’s still a workaround.)

I didn't hook it up right away, and I forgot the credentials I used to set it up, but I connected it to a switch and it #justWorks so I never bothered to fix it.

My #Netgear #Wifi AP needs updated and restarted all the time, but pfSense has been doing it's job ever since with absolutely no help from me.

Very impressive!

After around 12 years using #macos - eventually moved from Apple Mail, Calendar and Tasks to #Thunderbird.

Use Thunderbird loads on #Linux and so very comfortable on macOS. It #justworks 😀😀😀😀
