For some #history background: this, today, was only the 6th national address in #Australia ever.

The first was in 1941 regarding OZ being at #war with #Japan. One address concerned Australia's controversial history with its #indigenous owners, #COVID, #iraq war & 2008 financial crisis & now Iran fuel crisis.

The format itself is highly unusual & reserved only for actual crises. Australia is currently at level 2 of its 4 stage fuel emergency plan.

A delightfully morbid theme of #GoneTooSoon for #JukeboxFridayNight this week.

Here's the 2002 video for Just So You Know by American Head Charge. Guitarist Bryan Ottoson replaced Wayne Kile just 24 hours before this video was shot. In 2005 he died on tour from what was ruled an accidental overdose of prescription and unspecified pain relief medication and sadly joined the 27 Club.
