I think we all agreed with the position that we need to have people's tribunals and hold police accountable because the Self-Investigation Unit, and the myriad provincial equivalents, will not.

Today in screenshots: Just letting your pathology hang out all over the place.
I missed the fire emojis the first time I saw the screenshot because, apparently, my brain isn't broken the way their brains are.
But I did catch that the scooter is in the remains of the #JusticeForTylor sacred fire (scare quotes not needed) that, despite visiting multiple times¹, the scooters (specifically #CreepySpouseInDaHouse) were denied footage of by the presence of #sp411star signage.
I mean, except that one frame that they took out of video and removed the text from the image. 🤣

⬆️ ⬆️ ⬆️Morning folks. This is a hard one. I am sharing the go fund me for the family of Tylor Maxie (Coore), the Afro Indigenous man shot by toronto police on Tuesday.
Tylor suffers with paranoid schizophrenia and was having an episode at the time. Police took it upon themselves to shoot him as their only means of subduing Tylor and deescalating the situation leading to him near death in ICU after multiple surgeries.
Needless to say this is a heartbreaking and close to home reminder that police violence is at the root of the settler colonial project here, rife with racism and ableism. Only a day after Sonya Massey, who also suffered from schizophrenia was shot and killed by police.
