#Kenan Ayaz, a well-known Kurdish activist, has been sentenced to 4 years and 3 months in prison in Hamburg for alleged membership in a terrorist organization. This decision has sparked criticism, with Cansu Özdemir (Die Linke) calling it a fatal signal for the rule of law and opposition in Kurdistan and Turkey. Ayaz, who has already spent 12 years in Turkish prisons, was arrested in #Cyprus last year and transferred to #Germany #justiceforkurds.
