This time thought he swings at us with a great rip-off of a 1957 Sidney Lumet classic 12 Angry Men.

Una frase, un título en este caso, de la cultura pop que uso con frecuencia es esa de una serie de catastróficas desdichas. Resulta más descriptiva y acertada que la clásica, e igualmente solvente, lo malo nunca viene solo.
A partir de cualquier incidente el jenga vital se puede alterar leve, moderada o fatalmente. Incidente o accidente.
Justin Kemp sabe de eso. Todo va sobre ruedas hasta que las ruedas piden pista en un timming (saludo a mis fanes jóvenes) mortal. O no. O sí. Uf... Encima la mente estaba nublada, como el cielo.
Mejor olvidar. No fue nada.
Sin embargo, olvida quien puede, y si el ayer llama a tu puerta el dilema está servido. Un dilema es un abono de primer orden para que brote una historia consistente.
El cabezota de Clint, quiere morir filmando, y a mí me parece lo apropiado. Solo él relame su cinematografía pasada con tan buen hacer. Jurado número 2 aúna lo mejor de Mystic River o Ejecución Inminente con trazas del Fincher de Perdida (el más asequible) y decanta los mayores errores de estas.
Si bien se le podría cortar un cuarto de hora, el filme es bien sobrio en todos los aspectos, da lo que tiene que dar, como lo tiene que dar y cuando lo tiene que dar. A veces da rodeos que pretende pasar por giros, otras enfoca valores rancios, eso también.
Según se desgrana la historia caen nuevos subdilemas, yuxtaponiéndose al anterior y al principal, aumentan las dudas y nos hacen plantearnos qué haríamos así como si funciona el sistema. Un extraordinaria -otra vez- Collette y un Messina -guapísimo- recrean al ángel y al demonio que ahora son dos diablillos, la Justicia para nada ciega e imparcial sino sesgada por humana. Hay planos de fotografía demoledora.
Ningún sistema es perfecto porque las personas no lo somos, pero es lo que hay, y con ello hemos de lidiar e intentar progresar en nuestros juicios, también -o tampoco- tú, Clint.

#Juror2 war ganz solide Unterhaltung aber kommt zu keiner Zeit an die großen Gerichtsdramen ran. Gut gespielt, aber den Charakteren mangelt es an Tiefe, die Geschworenen sind allesamt eine Ansammlung von Klischees. Ein bisschen schade, dass das jetzt vermutlich der letzte Streifen von #Eastwood gewesen ist...
