Successfully restored the chorus function in the #Juno6 today. It's been getting increasingly noisy for the last year, which is apparently a fault they're developing as the original Panasonic MN3009 #BBD chips degrade. Replaced with XVive MN3009s (socketed). Seems to work perfectly, immediately. This is the first repair (rather than contact cleaning) it's needed in 43 years.
(I didn't last anywhere near that long without intervention.)

Practicing on my Roland Juno 6, I'm a bit rusty fumbling the odd key on faster runs but enjoying it, some of the sliders have gone a bit scratchy as its been out of use for a couple of years. #synthesizer #juno6 #roland #music #oldschool #analogue #analog

A late night #Jamuary 7 submission contains a spaced out electro synthesizer jam at 111bpm. This one was pretty fun to piece together with MIDI and trigger wires all over the room 😆

Despite a shortened work week I'm still beat. A simple 3 tracks of Juno 6 are what I landed on for #Jamuary 6 - a single instrument jam. The #BoardsOfCanada inspired dyad chords and bass printed pretty nice but please excuse my terrible lead playing.
