Why does Do Guk love Yi Joo?
We learn he loves her, but how? What is their past? At the end we see that he was enamored with her painting & started to learn about her. He had developed enough feelings to be angry with her family & even Yi Joo for how things were going even before the accident. Add in his feelings of responsibility for the accident & I think that's where his love comes from.

The Ending:
At 1st, I was a bit sad that I didn't see what happened to all the horrible people. How satisfying would it have been to see Yoo Ra trying to raise a baby in that tiny apartment with no money, a husband who doesn't love her & horrible in-laws?We are shown the endings of both timelines. In each ending, one is begging the universe to let their love have a chance to live. They are not begging for revenge on those who put the other in danger. They were able to live because the focus changed from revenge to love. I think this is why the revenge stories were cut a bit short. We do see that each has to pay some consequences, but their relevance to the lives of our main characters no longer exists. Seek justice, but live for yourself & the ones you love.

Perfect Marriage Revenge
(2023 - Viki, 12 1:10 eps)What starts with some fairly common drama plot lines: a woman in need of a rescue, a chance to do it all again, a knight, & an evil family, results in a juicy makjang revenge story with quite a snap at the end to remind us to examine what we value in life. There were some great lines. The acting was classic revenge soap opera style - so fun. I was so glad to see the ML in this part, a *nice* chaebol! I loved that the FL was so powerful yet vulnerable - as appropriate to her backstory. Chemistry was unstoppable. Why did the ML have feelings for the FL? (See spoiler comment)
At eps 10 I wondered how they could tie up everything. People might think the last 2 eps rushed, but I think it reinforced the moral of the story.

Anyone else enthralled with "Perfect Marriage Revenge"?
Finished eps 8 out of 12 (it's currently airing - 9 comes out Saturday)
Currently has ratings of 8.6 on My Drama List & 9.8 on Viki. I hope it continues like it has. So many twists & turns in this revenge plot!
The ML's mother, Lee Mi Sook, is fantastic! I'm going to have to look for her in other things.
