  14. Sad news. I remember her from both reruns of Lassie and Lost in Space on TV in my childhood. She made the larger impression for Lost In Space for me.

I have always thought a little levity helps a sad moment and I happen to have a funny June Lockhart story. Sometime circa 2000 she appeared at DragonCon. I was never big on autographs but a friend wanted one so I decided I would also stand in the long line with her and get an autograph. I was maybe third or fourth in line after a long wait and June Lockhart accused me of breaking in line. I was mortified but before I could say anything everyone in line around me was coming to my defense. I'd been there the whole time. I only knew one of those people. June still scowled at me the whole time as she signed a photo and I'm convinced did not believe them. LOL

The funny thing is, to me, this is a far better story than "I stood in line for an hour and June Lockhart signed a photo for me." The End. Instead I have this crazy memory of the one and only time I talked to her.
