  2. @pete @ascentale: #BikeNite A5 followup: Yep, especially the saddle height is vital. I notice seatpost slipping on the #Brompton already in my legs if it's just 1 or 2 centimeters. (And that even though according to #JulianeNeuß, the Brompton Popess, I have the wrong, i.e. too low seatpost height.) I though live in a hilly area, so I probably notice such issues rather early.

  3. @ch_Nahon: It's probably a #recumbent #Brompton made by #JulianeNeuß of junik-hpv.de/juliane-neuss-ist (🇩🇪) in the late 90s. The kit only fits the older, shorter Brompton frame until early 2004, i.e. up to the Mk3 generation. If I remember correctly there exists no fitting belt in a length needed for the longer Mk4 frames. In the channel description a Brompton Mk1 is mentioned, i.e. from before 1987. It might be the one in the video.

And yes, I'd take one if I could get one, even with those old brakes.

  4. Had issues with the #Velospeeder friction wheel e-assist on the #Brompton:

It suddenly started rattling horribly on one side of the rim. When investigating on the road I didn't see anything wrong. A #VeloPlus repair shop was on my way and they had a look. They figured that the friction wheel is running untrue. But they didn't want to touch the unknown #ebike kit.

So in the evening I took it apart myself after consulting #JulianeNeuß on the phone.

Look what I found at the ring's inner side. 🤯
