Dug through some more art file backups, looking at stuff I had done in #Krita before 2020... found a bunch of unfinished WIPs I had completely forgotten about!

I wouldn't finish any of these now (and obviously I didn't want to back then either lol), but I badly want to retry that road construction witch concept.

(The first image is actually from a timelapse video I made with some screen capture software, as it seems I never actually hit "save" in Krita after doing that work 😭)

It's been many months since I've felt this motivated to draw. Drawing the autumn fae again. The original (upthread) was just a one-off with mostly-random-but-intentionally-cool design elements... but when redrawing her, I was forced to consider how those elements come about and how they behave... which leads to full-blown personality and character background.

And then I kept going and developed the other 3 seasonal fae :BlobCat_MeltTears: But this is all I've got drawn so far, gotta wait to see what more I can muster

I am once again revisiting the nature of Ceilidh's hair. She's been around for roughly 25 years, so her hairstyle has necessarily evolved along with my style and tastes; but it's always been unruly and voluminous.

I'm trying some subtle changes, like framing her face with longer bangs at the sides (compare to some recent drawings of her at https://bigraccoon.ca/gallery?tag=OC%3A%20Ceilidh). Still not entirely sold on it, though.

If anyone has style ideas, I'd love to hear (or see) them!
