  6. Today I Rise

    The world is missing what I am ready to give: my wisdom, my sweetness, my love and my hunger for peace. I weep with the trees and the rivers and the earth in distress. I rise and shine and I am ready to go on my quest. Today I rise…Without doubt or hesitation. Today I rise. Without excuses – Without procrastination. Today I call my sisters to join. A movement of resoluteness and ….concern. Today is my call to action. I will fulfill my mission. Without further distraction.

    Today is the day! Today I will start to offer the world: The Wisdom of my heart.

    • Your flowers
    • Your gratitude
    • Your best wishes
    • Your heartly warm congratulations or “Liebe Grüße”

    We don't want you saying empty words and phrases!

    We don't want organisation, political parties, unis, celebs misuse our hashtags as if they'd give a fuck!

    We don't want businesses offering us a free code to safe 10% on kitchen appliances!

    We don't want your quote of a famous female person, photographs of your one photo shooting with women, articles about equality, podcasts about gender pay gap, posts about this one female researcher among your peers or pictures of your female co-workers!

    You are hypocrites!

    Go have a look at who your following right now. Go have a look at the Trending feed right now. Go have a look at your last three posts/toots/boosts right now. How many women do you count?

    The only way to show that you actually care and are genuinely interested in change for us women, is by fighting and marching beside us!

    Listen and boost what women have got to say!

    Not just today. Not just this week or a month. EVERY day!

    We need you getting up your lazy arses from that couches or gaming chairs and actually DO something!

    Get the fuck up! NOW!

    Against a western, bourgeois and essentialist feminism overrepresented in the media, ignoring, because of its privileges, the experiences of gender minorities, of racialized people, of precarious people, of minorities ;

    Against the instrumentalization of our struggles for racist, islamophobic, imperialist and transphobic purposes ;

    Against the installation of fascism in the Belgian government with the Arizona coalition, and the multiplication of far-right regimes across the: world ;

    We will keep on organising collectively !

    LET'S TAKE IT TO THE STREETS ON THE

    8th OF MARCH TO MARK THE

    INTERNATIONAL DAY OF ACTION FOR

    THE RIGHT OF WOMXN

    AND ALL GENDER MINORITIES

    The material, financial and human resources of the police are increasing, and along with them, ( its repressive power. The first people to be affected are racialized people, gender minorities, homeless people, undocumented people, people with disabilities, underprivileged people, queer people, sex workers, inmates.

    The systematic use of prison logics leads to the increase of prison capacities, the construction of new detention buildings, and the collaboration with prisons abroad to deport people without residence permits.

    The attack on social rights that were hardly fought for, such as unemployment benefits, retirement allowance, survivor's pension, access to healthcare, to education, to housing, leads to extreme precariousness.

    We're fighting for a liberation at the crossroads of all struggles, and we are, therefore, internationalists by essence.

    We reaffirm the importance of a total support towards all forms of resistance. Struggles and victories here and elsewhere are advances for all of us.

    We stand in solidarity with all the peoples in resistance ; in Kanaky, Hawai'i, Ayiti, Palestine, Congo, Sudan, Rojava, Tibet, Balochistan ;

    with the Kel Tamajeq, the Uyghurs and the Rohingyas peoples ;

    with all native peoples and nomadic peoples ; with all those organizing against the incompletion of colonial and imperialist logics.

    We, revolutionary feminists, call for a response.

    An anti-imperialist, anti-racist, anti-capitalist, anti-carceralist, anti-psychiatric and anti-colonial response.

    JOIN THE BRIF BLOC !

    MEET US ON 08/03 - 2pm

    Against a western, bourgeois and essentialist feminism overrepresented in the media, ignoring, because of its privileges, the experiences of gender minorities, of racialized people, of precarious people, of minorities ;

    Against the instrumentalization of our struggles for racist, islamophobic, imperialist and transphobic purposes ;

    Against the installation of fascism in the Belgian government with the Arizona coalition, and the multiplication of far-right regimes across the: world ;

    We stand in solidarity with all the peoples in resistance ; in Kanaky, Hawai'i, Ayiti, Palestine, Congo, Sudan, Rojava, Tibet, Balochistan ;

    with the Kel Tamajeq, the Uyghurs and the Rohingyas peoples ;

    with all native peoples and nomadic peoples ; with all those organizing against the incompletion of colonial and imperialist logics.

    We, revolutionary feminists, call for a response.

    An anti-imperialist, anti-racist, anti-capitalist, anti-carceralist, anti-psychiatric and anti-colonial response.
