Like the time(s) I put the harness and lead on the dog, but my shoes on, go down two flights of stairs and out the building to walk the dog... and realise I'm wearing my computer glasses, not my distance glasses. Oh well, I don't need to see too far when walking the dog.

"What does a young man like you do when looking for an academic job?" says a different man.
Aw, thanks! You can't be that much older than me, you only just retired…

The words "You look too young to be a bus driver" came out of my mouth.
"I know…" he replied.
It's not that I doubted his ability to drive the bus. It was the dissonance. I mean, he looked too young to shave. I think his voice changed on the way into the city centre.
