@borkdude It's... 1970s technology; it was obnoxious and clunky even then (Eight Megabytres And Constant Swapping); it's Generaly Not Used Except by Middle Aged Computer Scientists; it has its own built in Lisp system which isn't dreadful.
I mean, you could convert a Model T Ford to electric, and it would be a cool hack; but it still wouldn't be an ergonomic modern car.
Yes, #Emacs can do it. But #Babashka or #Jolt or #Scittle or #CLJS or even #Clojure can do it better and faster, so why?

Two shopping centers near me offer #jolt chargers and they have the J1772 connector that my car has. Seems interesting. So I go to the apple App Store and look up the app. 1.2 stars! I’ve never seen such a low rating. And the complaints make it sound horrible.

Получится ли сделать полноценную 3D -игру на Qt Quick3D ? Именно такой вопрос у меня возник, когда я начал изучать Quick3D . Казалось бы, рендер и партиклы есть, базовая физика в лице Quick3D Physics тоже присутствует. Пример CharacterController из Qt указывал на то, что проблем быть не должно. Но хотелось проверить это самому на чём-то реальном. Поскольку моделлер и художник из меня никакой, да и в геймдеве опыта у меня меньше нуля, я решил переписать Quake — любимую игру своего детства. В ней я провёл сотни (тысячи?) часов, играя в мультиплеер на бесплатных серверах МТУ-Информ через модем US Robotics 33600. В итоге получился проект Kwayk — попытка переписать Quake на Quick3D .

The #Jolt physics engine handles it quite reasonably! This is still a subject with a lot of uncertainty for me, to see if it will work with multiple joints in complex machines.
For now, it wasn't intentional, but apparently I've created a trailer pull back simulator. It's as painful to drive as in real life 😅 You can't look 360° so you have to rotate in the other direction each time the trailer goes on the other side, and of course the trailer itself is hard to control...

Ich bekomme auch beim Laden keine schlechte Laune, bin aber immer wieder überrascht wie schwer es sich die Anbieter machen uns Strom zu verkaufen.
Ich kann hier nur zeigen, wie man es machen kann, elektrisch fahren macht einfach Spaß und ich bin seit ich mich dafür entschieden habe noch nie so entspannt Auto gefahren.@baumkobold

This anisotropic friction thing is going to prove an interesting challenge (which is an euphemism for "I'm in a dead end").
The old implementation I made relied on PhysX providing the normal force applied to each contact point, which I need to compute friction. The more you press objects one against the other, the more friction forces prevent them to slide relatively to the other.
Sadly, #Jolt does not provide this information 😬
