Yesterday we updated our audio player to allow video playback.
Today we took it one step further, now you can paste any YouTube video link into your admin dashboard and we will enable that video podcast as an alternative option to your audio podcast.
This means as a podcaster you can now upload your video podcast to YouTube and then copy a link into Podfans for playback. /cc @dave @adam @james

Next week Podfans will allow any podcaster to upload and host their secondary audio and/or video file in their creator's dashboard using the <Alternate Enclosure> tag.
The primary enclosure file in their RSS feed will still be hosted by the original podcast host.
Our goal is to test if we can use an IPFS Gateway and allow Podcasters to choose this additional option for secondary podcast distribution.
