I don’t think it’s unreasonable for We The People to demand & expect POTUS and Pals to follow all of the laws that duly elected Members of Congress have enacted and funded, and to act within the limits of our Constitution.
Has the Special Employee sworn an oath of any kind to an entity other than his assets, one wonders?
WE DID NOT VOTE TO DISMANTLE THE FUNCTIONS, PROTECTIONS & SERVICES of the Federal Government.

Here’s a thought about getting out local political info using Reddit…
Almost every US city, town & village has a local subreddit (a forum devoted to local news & shitposts). Anyone can read Reddit but you have to be a Reddit subscriber (free) to post.
I just posted local & national protest info on the Sacramento sub and included the link to “30 Lonely…Actions” that has been floating around Fedi (great suggestions).
Reddit’s demographic is NOT exclusively 19 y/o basement dwellers — I see more GenX, Boomers & GenZ — and even the red-hot “politics” sub leans left. IMO, this is a good place to at least provide info for protests, activist organizations & other pending legislation that needs attention.
I’m posting my Reddit post below if you feel inclined to do the same for your area.

Jesus — by the time I read through my Fedi feed for an hour, my blood pressure is up 40 points and my mood has hit the floor. 😱

Anyone who’s worked longer than five minutes in any field knows every new boss brings a new broom to sweep out old stuff & make changes; the smarter ones at LEAST understand the rationale for existing systems & know how to manage change.
47 obviously has the right to instigate change BUT we do have legitimate processes by which change is effected. We do have elected Members of Congress who are empowered to debate & vote on changes; Congress represents & acts for 348 million Americans. We also have a Constitution that all elected officials have sworn to uphold.
By circumventing Congress, dismissing appointed oversight officials, bypassing security protocols, AND completely ignoring the Constitution, 47 is clearly operating outside of the law.
Change can be good. Impulsive, extra-legal change putting lives, health, stability & our economy at risk can, and will be, deadly.

If I remember basic civics, CONGRESS authorizes federal agencies and CONGRESS appropriates their funding as part of the national Budget signed into LAW by the president.NONE of these DOGE measures have been submitted to Congress for approval. Even the DOGE king has not been confirmed or authorized in his position by any authority except the Toddler in Chief.

This is a link to a very somber & scary address (8 minutes) by Sen. Bernie Sanders re 47 & pals’ shenanigans and where we may end up without a fight by all of us.
He stresses the importance of contacting Members of Congress, especially Republicans who may with enough pressure NOT fall in line with the radical legislation coming up (another huge tax break for the 1% while vital programs are cut).
I felt it was worth my time to watch — you may too.
