FediSuite 1.4.5 is out and ships with a feature that makes the self hosting ecosystem more visible.
Public FediSuite instances can now register themselves directly from the admin panel into the official instance directory on fedisuite.com. Anyone running a self hosted instance who wants to open it up for new users can do so with just a few clicks. Listed are name, URL, user count and join date. Voluntary, transparent and removable at any time.
This way a real directory grows over time, where people can see where to sign up without having to set up Docker and run their own instance. The official instance and fedi.adminforge.de are leading the way.
If you want to be part of it, just update and register through the admin panel.

FediSuite 1.4.5 ist draußen und bringt eine Funktion mit, die das Self Hosting Ökosystem sichtbarer macht.
Öffentliche FediSuite Instanzen können sich jetzt direkt aus dem Admin Panel heraus in das offizielle Instanz Verzeichnis auf fedisuite.com eintragen. Wer seine selbst gehostete Instanz für neue Nutzer öffnen möchte, kann das mit wenigen Klicks tun. Angezeigt werden Name, URL, Nutzerzahl und Beitrittsdatum.
Freiwillig, transparent und jederzeit wieder entfernbar.So entsteht nach und nach ein echtes Verzeichnis, in dem Interessierte sehen können, wo sie sich anmelden können, ohne selbst Docker aufsetzen und eine eigene Instanz betreiben zu müssen. Den Anfang machen die offizielle Instanz und fedi.adminforge.de.
Wer dabei sein will, einfach updaten und im Admin Panel registrieren.
