  5. Prime Minister’s announcement of a RM4.7 billion allocation in Budget 2024 to revive the plan to build five stations on the #LRT3 line in #Selangor that was cancelled in 2018 has raised eyebrows.

    The 37km LRT3 line will connect #BandarUtama to #JohanSetia in #Klang, and is currently under construction.

    With budget of RM4.7 billion, the average cost to build each #station is roughly RM940 million.

  7. Rail Planning Division of Land Public Transport Agency (APAD) has carried out site inspection for LRT 3 Bandar Utama-Johan Setia Project for the Western Package.

    Among the locations of the inspection carried out were Station 17 Bandar Baru Klang, Station 22 Taman Seri Andalas and Johan Setia Depot.
