Tonight: if I had to describe tonight's Pier 17 JRAD show in two words, I'd have to go with "fun" and "rocking." Might even throw in a couple exclamation marks. Second set dotted with some cool Bustle-esque Zeppelin teases and jams. But if it's an NYC Almost Dead show, it's really about socializing with old friends and that we did, that we did. Lots of good hugs tonight. No complaints.

First time I saw JRAD was tonight. Holy crap what a good band, such a unique and creative take on Grateful Dead music. The sound was kinda shit though. I think the venue needs to upgrade their speakers at minimum. Still, amazing show. Here they are mid-peak in the Morning Dew 2nd set closer.
