  1. I've been working on the infrastructure for Launchpad023. Everything declaratively configured because servers should be cattle not pets.

I've put it up on Codeberg if anyone wants to take a look.

  2. "Melissa Du and Lucas Igel, the creators of J-Mail — an independent search engine built to organize millions of Epstein-related documents, discuss with Tara Palmeri why they built it, what it reveals, and the bigger question looming over this case: Are we seeing real transparency — or just a curated slice?"

  3. Jmail reimagines Jeffrey Epstein's publicly released emails as an interactive Gmail-style inbox, making thousands of scanned documents searchable and user-friendly with AI-powered OCR. Created by Riley Walz and Luke Igel, it has drawn millions exploring connections in the Epstein files. 📧🔍 Dive in: jmail.world #Jmail #EpsteinFiles #OpenData

  5. Y’all remember #JMail, the project by coders Riley #Walz and Luke #Igel?

JMail has grown from a Gmail-skinned interface where you are “logged in” as [email protected] and participate in a simulation of his interactions with Google products, to #JPhotos and #JFlights, and now they’ve put out #JWiki, and they’re loading the #Epstein files in and doing some info architecture to make stuff easier to find, and document.

  8. I'm old enough to remember when one would *proactively* cache static content through Squid, Apache or NGINX plugins and only had to worry about about ingress/egress fees.

This *build first* and worry about deployment later (if at all) is all fun and games until the bill comes due.

Seriously though, it's not like Epstein is writing more emails at this point (right?), so the costs are likely going to spike when searching and not the email retrieval

  10. Say what you will about the vibe coders, but they built a Google Suite-like web interface with a Gmail, Google Photos, Drive, Google Flights, Amazon that categorizes the Jeffrey Epstein files that were publicly released.

There's more stuff that will be integrated into this as per the article, such as Apple Music but for the grand jury transcripts, and a 3D VR tour of Jeffrey's Upper East Side mansion, among other things.

    This. is. awesome.

  11. When the U.S. House Oversight Committee released 20,000 of Jeffrey Epstein's emails earlier this month, some people wanted to check out the messages for themselves, but without having to wade through the whole digital dump. @motherjonesmag reports on Jmail, which presents the documents as if they were in a Gmail account, with a working search function. Here's how programmer Luke Igel and prankster Riley Walz made it. At the second link, find the inbox, with some familiar names within: Steve Bannon, Quora, and, erm, @Flipboard.
