  1. CW: The Devil's Judge (very mild spoilery hints)

Haha, I don't think I've done 5 back-to-back with him, but I've probably watched that many this year, maybe more. It's super fun to find actors who are marvellous to watch, no matter what they do!!
I loved Kill Me, Heal Me, and enjoyed Traditional Wife. I think he'd be great in historicals, but it doesn't look like he's done many. He certainly has action skills, which he uses in #TheDevilJudge.

This was the show that started me on my #JiSung quest! He's delightful here as probably a bad guy, and I find that he does so well in a wide range of roles! I'm loving him in #TheApartmentJob, and I recently watched #SecretLove with him and #HwangJungEum another actor I adore. I'll have to double back and try #TheJudgeReturns again, because folks enjoyed it. Great acting is delightful!

I just chatted with @whoosh, and she also really enjoyed #TheJudgeReturns, so I may need to give it another try. It was currently airing when I watched it, and it seemed really predictable and badly written. However, I have enormous love for #JiSung, and what he can do with the material he's been given!

Oh, I just posted that I'm watching #JiSung in #SecretLove. He's such a delight to watch, except in the time-travelling judge series that came out in the last year or so. This show (2013) is on Viki, as is his amazing #KillMeHealMe, both with #HwangJungEum. Viki brought back a lot of their older shows here. I had to get Kocowa for a few months in the winter to watch a bunch of oldies that I'd long wanted to watch.

I'm watching Secret Love (2013), with #JiSung and #HwangJungEum, the leads from #KillMeHealMe. I'm not very impressed with the story of ultra-toxic revenge and love, but I'm mesmerized by the leads and their fabulous acting!

  6. @writerchristina He's amazing in #TheDevilJudge, which I watched when it was leaving one of the streamers. I also enjoyed him in #FamiliarWife, an interesting variation on time travel.

  7. CW: B-Rank: She Was Pretty

    @dogfox
Kill Me, Heal Me is pretty well-done, from a MH perspective. Of course, most of the plot is surreal and professional boundaries are crossed from day 1, similar to the recent Idol I drama, with an idol and his lawyer. It also stars the fabulous #JiSung showing off some of his best work, which makes it worth watching.

I couldn't force myself to continue Check In Hanyang. I loved her in my rewatch of #MrSunshine, and she was also amazing in #TheDevilJudge, as was #JiSung, who I'd like to see more of.

Day 3: Favourite male actor discovered in 2025
Although I may have previously seen them, a couple of actors grabbed my notice this year:
#JangHyuk: My Country, A New Era, Bloody Heart, Wok of Love, A Tree With Deep Roots
    #JiSung The Devil Judge
    Honourable mentions to:
    #SonSukku Nine Puzzles, Matrimonial Chaos
#LeeJeHoon The Art of Negotiation, Move to Heaven, Rented in Finland, Taxi Driver (couldn't finish-too violent)
#LeeSeungGi Gu Family Book, A Korean Odyssey, Vagabond, The Law Cafe

#JiSung is SO handsome in this!! I think @whoosh is rushing to watch this series before it leaves Netflix. It was a great series, although there were a couple of shows near the end that were too dark for my liking.

  12. I finished two #kdramas and both of them stuck the landing/ending.

The first one was #killmehealme a tour de force by the male lead #jisung. They threw a nice curveball near the end but it ended the way it should’ve in my opinion. I give it a 9.8/10
    #kdrama

The second one was #mydearestnemisis and I give it a 9.8 as well. With so many recent dramas seemingly unable to satisfactorily close out these two stand out for me. #kdrama

    en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Devi

A dystopian #kdrama about a post-pandemic South Korea slowly falling into dictatorship.

The dark hero is Kang Yo-han, a reality TV judge whose motives and actions are quite disruptive. This role is perfectly interpreted by #JiSung (#지성).
The anti hero is instead Kim Ga-on (#kpop #GOT7's #ParkJinYoung #박진영), a young judge trying to counter-balance a justice system offered to the masses as manipulative entertainment.

He really is. I hadn’t seen him in anything else (that I know of) and his range doing all those personalities and making you believe in them was just wonderful.

He & Park Seo-joon won an award for best couple because of his portrayal of Yoo-na. So fun to watch.

  15. Almost finished with “Kill Me, Heal Me” a 2015 with Ji Sung, Hwang Jung-eum, & Park Seo-joon. I started watching as part of my "Watch Everything with Park Seo-joon Quest”.

The first few episodes were a little annoying - there is a lot of screaming from the female lead. But by episode 5, I was hooked.

I am now on episode 18 (out of 20) and am looking forward to seeing how it all wraps up.

Although I started watching because of PSJ (he is excellent in this show), I became a huge fan of Ji Sung. He carries off an amazing acting feat. There is a lot of laughing & crying with this one.

  16. I miss doing portraita like this, just because I want to paint a handome man I like.
I'm pretty burried in work right now, to do that.
It's great to have work to do and money it brings! But I really miss doing personal stuff.
