Trapped as a tiny feral potato in the dead of winter, Jinx the Lynx has added the perfect amount of chaos to my home. Whisper has a tusslin’ playmate… up to a point, and Dexy puts up with him… up to a point. That’s a win in my book. He’s my first blue-eyed cat, and ice blue to make things even fancier. One of my favorite details on him are those spots on either side of his nose, indicating he had nasallang piercings in a previous life. So yes, Jinx is not only a lynx point blend of tabby and Siamese, but also punk AF.

I have just added a new feature to my Jinx spell-checking package. The new command jinx-remove-word removes words from the personal dictionary, file-local variables and so on. Reuben Thomas (the maintainer of the Enchant library backing Jinx) suggested this addition. He is also an #emacs and #jinx user!

Window Treatment Note: To be fair, Dexy was probably first to rip the thin curtain panel a bit when she fell off the top of the loveseat during a snooze. Whisper also likes to perch at that spot, but without incident. Jinx has since added his touches to it, turning it into a feline art project. I have sturdier drapes to replace it, but I’m curious if he’ll manage to turn the panel into a valance first.
