Transylvania Twist was a movie I caught on cable in the early 90s and just loved how cheesy it was and how hot Teri Copley is in it. I'm glad I still remembered it so I could do something with it 25 years later on the blog.

Jim Wynorski's Vampirella (1996) isn't that great but it's not that bad. It's not sexy enough and it's not fun enough but it's moderately enjoyable. Vampirella deserved a better movie than this.

Not of This Earth (1988), a remake from Roger Corman's New World Pictures of his own 1957 sci-fi vampire film, this time with Jim Wynorski directing. Traci Lords stars and she's fine.

There's some horror, some cheesy special effects and plenty of humour.

It's all great fun - fast-moving, slick, action-packed and sleazy.

Deathstalker II (1987), one of the many sword & sorcery epics churned out by Roger Corman in the 80s. This one is more deliberately cheesy and hammy than most but it’s good-natured fun.

Silly and goofy but fast-moving, exciting and amusing. If you’re in the mood for a real beer and popcorn movie this is just the thing.
