You were shamed into Operation “#ProvideComfort,” but only after thousands of us had already been killed following your call to rise.
We are the Kurds in #Bakur, south eastern Turkey whose lives and bodies have been sacrificed because of your economic and military ties to Turkey- your NATO allies who built a #jihadi corridor and openly supports ISIS, al-Qaeda and #alNusra
We are the same Kurds in #Rojhilat whom you betrayed during the 1975 #AlgiersAgreement. The Kurdish uprising collapsed overnight; tens of thousands were displaced. Iraqi forces launched severe reprisals—those who witnessed what had happened to our fellow Kurds in Basur and Rojava now refuse to be your foot soldiers.
We are the same Kurds you are trying to strong-arm into a #war we do not wish to participate in.

and the rebel group ascendant now is not #daesh/ #ISIL, but they are #jihadi. Hayat Tahrir al-Sham #HTS broke ranks with #AlQaeda and has attacked #ISIS
confusing
but i would tend to think assad and his cruel #baathist regime's time is many years past its expiration date, merely propped up by #iran and #russia

The EU is set to launch a new mission in West Africa in the fall, a German newspaper has reported. The combined military-civilian operation will aim to prevent instability triggered by jihadi groups.

#BBC Monitoring's #jihadi media analysts say there is no confirmation of any sorts of the IS leader's alleged killing by Turkey. They seem to think #Daesh #ISIS #Qureyshi died in #Aleppo province - the only picture of the location so far avail is a remote house in olive groves, he might have blown himself up when he figured he was surrounded.
