Hell's Paradise Season 2 is probably worth watching if you consider yourself to be a Hell's Paradise fan. But if you're a casual viewer, I think you could spend your time watching something else.

Did Yuzuriha die at the end of Hell's Paradise Season 2 Episode 11? That's the implication. However, none of the main characters has died in Season 2 yet. And, technically, Gabimaru could use his Tao to save her.

Hell's Paradise Season 3 Episode 11 introduces a third way to defeat the Tensen. You can use a super-effective Tao attribute, cut them down until they can no longer regenerate, or force them to expend all of their Tao.

By Hell's Paradise Season 2 Episode 11, it's still unclear whether Yui (Gabimaru's wife) is real. The assumption is that she is. But Yuzuriha planted the seed that she may not be in Season 1, and we technically have no evidence either way.

Was it necessary for Shion to attempt to sacrifice himself to take down Zhu Jin in Hell's Paradise Season 2 Episode 10? I don't think so. He could have won without doing that. He just wanted to die in that moment.

I could have sworn we got Shion's backstory at some point back in Season 1. But it's very possible that I was just getting him and another blind anime swordsman mixed up. Hell's Paradise Season 2 Episode 10 gives us the real story.

It turns out that using the correct Tao attribute isn't the only way to kill the Tensen. In Hell's Paradise Season 2 Episode 9, Shion Yamada Asaemon decides to simply keep cutting them down until they stop regenerating.

Hell's Paradise Season 2 Episode 9 actually makes the Tao attribute system somewhat interesting. I didn't think that was possible at this point. But the way Tao attributes are used in the fight against Ju Fa and Tao Fa is good.

It's not just Tao Fa who has doubts about the things the Tensen have been doing for centuries. In Hell's Paradise Season 2 Episode 8, we learn that Ju Fa shared her same concerns, but slowly saw Tao Fa's personality change.

Tao Fa singlehandedly made the Tensen more interesting in Hell's Paradise Season 2 Episode 7 by saying that she doesn't find fighting humans to be fun. In fact, she finds her entire existence to be boring.

The fight we get between Gabimaru and Choubei in Hell's Paradise Season 2 Episode 2 has no emotional impact. There's no reason for these characters to be fighting, and so there's no reason to be invested in it.
