The Parks Dept came up with a renovation plan years ago. T**** & his "Pool Guy"… who isn't and engineer… tossed it out and devised a new plan based on talking to people at a Pool Convention.
Then, the materials for it were made more expensive by #DonnieDumbass' #tariffs.

Painting it dark blue warmed the water promoting #algae growth.
They used sealant, promoting #algae growth.
They dumped a few gallon jugs of Hydrogen Peroxide into a 27 million gallon pond "bigger than the Empire State Building", and it's already causing the paint to peel.
...and it's still green. #JFC.
