I also really love #JewelleryMaking. Still learning how to do wire wrapping! My husband chose this blue chalcedony, and I wrapped it yesterday! I love the challenge of wrapping stones that aren’t “perfectly” shaped!

I've been making earrings out of Mobius Knots of late. I have a whole bunch of jump rings and nothing to do with them, so figured I'd just go ham! I particularly like the rainbow mobius cluster, which is so colourful!

I didn’t have any posts or ear wires left, so I had to make my own. I'll probably replace them at some point, but as these are for me, I'm not that bothered by the mix of colours!

I'm so excited to get started.

I don't even know what I planned to do with everything. It all started with me looking for a copper wire decoration for my industrial piercing and realising I could probably do it myself.
Having looked at jewellery wire on Aliexpress it started reccing me all manner of other jewellery making supplies and I fell absolutely in love with the lava beads.
Then I realised I could make nonbinary bracelets with the colours available and apparently bought all the things. Had to have stuff for the ace colours too of course.

When I get obsessive over something I am dangerous to my wallet 😅

Just hope I can manage to do any of it

Complexity in simplicity

The idea for the 'woven' #ring came while I was still a student of the late Samir Mattar in his #JewelleryMaking course in Urca, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

I went away with some scraps and basic tools to my grandparents' farm, and worked with what I had at hand.

I’m very much enjoying working on impressed designs at the moment. I use copper or silver sheet rather than metal clay, so I get the impressions using a rolling mill. It can be frustrating if the leaf or whatever shifts during the process, but it’s very satisfying when it goes well. I have several designs in both copper and silver on my website at the moment, if anyone would like to see some more.
