Do you want to know how I can so easily tell when someone's use of the hashtag #Jew or #Jewish is antisemitic when reference to the Israel/Palestine conflict? When they use Jew or Jewish but then use #Palestinian and not #Muslim or #Arab.
If the hashtag were merely descriptive of those involved, they'd surely use both right?

Another example of stage 2-3 Culture Cancer is that of the occupation of West Bank by Israel. They have literally caged in a group of people, like you would do with livestock for consumption.
On top of that some people from the Israeli tribe are forcefully taking the land from the West Bank residents, beating, mocking them, even murdering them.
An example:One of the Israeli settlers “hoarding” a Palestinian woman, mocking her as if she is a cattle. And filming all at the same time. Did I mention that he is holding a riffle?
In the video you can see him making the same noises that the Palestinians make to hoard their animals. The Israeli leaders tolerate and even encourage this behavior.I recommend these two documentaries to see the insane cancerous situation between Israel and the West Bank:

Louis Theroux: The Settlers - videoneat.com/documentaries/26…These are examples of a stage 2-3 Culture Cancer. It has spread significantly and it is hard to tackle. Thus it has a great influence over a population of people who can turn violent against each other.

For his latest #novel, “#CrossingtheBronx” (Fig Tree #Books), Hirshberg went in the opposite direction: two brothers find themselves on opposing sides of a fight over the construction of the #CrossBronxExpressway.
“Crossing the Bronx” is Hirshberg’s third novel and the final #book in his Mid-Century #Trilogy, following “#MyMother’sSon” (2018) and “#JacobosRainbow” (2021).
The novel is set in 1952 and centers on Jay deVenezia, a 23-year-old, six-foot-five-inch #Italian #Jew from the #Bronx, and his older brother, Eric “Bud” deVenezia. Eric is muscular, intimidating and at ease among the neighborhood toughs who surround their father, Ike. Jay works at a record store and is drawn more to books, music and #Hebrew study."

There's actually a very active frum fitness scene.

1. Tell the truth. Some lie about their religion for selfish advantage.
2. Live according to their rules. Many disregard the teachings of their religion, only wanting to belong to a group.

"In May 1818, #MordecaiManuelNoah, a prominent #Jew of his time and a member of the #Madison administration, delivered a discourse on #Jewish #history on the occasion of a #synagogue consecration. One man read #Noah’s words with interest, and took pen to paper to say so.
“Your sect by its sufferings has furnished a remarkable proof of the universal spirit of #religious #intolerance,” the correspondent noted, in elegant cursive. “Our laws have applied the only antidote to this vice, protecting our religious, as they do our civil, rights by putting them all on equal footing. But more remains to be done, for although we are free by the law, we are not so in practice.”
The letter’s author was #ThomasJefferson. 200 years later, there’s still work to do.

Interesting Jewish experience on a city tour in Germany. These questions around memory are pretty important and thought-provoking.
"A year before, I’d gone on two more of these types of #Jewish memorial trips. In Poland, we’d visited #Auschwitz, #Treblinka, and the #WarsawGhetto. In #Prague, we saw the Old #Jewish Quarter, #Theresienstadt, and #Europe’s oldest #synagogue. Here, too, we naturally experienced these cities and tourist sights through the eyes of #Jews. Each monument was viewed and explained, each museum was visited or at least noticed, each chance for lamentation was taken.
But on this city tour through #Dortmund, I noticed something rather peculiar: no Jews. With one exception: me. Oh well, I thought, today, my generation is so trained to be tolerant that it would practically be an advantage to be the only #Jew in a large group."

This one hits me deeply. I'm a #catholic... my grandfather was a #jew... on mastodon I feel this religiosity is such a foreign concept that most people here couldn't even read this essay all the way through without exploding. Maybe I'm not giving the community enough credit?
It's also late and I just came back from losing our #icehockey game. 2-4 after pulling the goalie and attempting to recover in the last two minutes, but giving up an empty-netter instead.

In this generation, many filled with hate will want and demand beheading of those with faith in God. Why?

The decision by the nation’s highest court to take up the case is considered highly unusual in the #American #legal system, as the Supreme Court hears only about 50 cases a year.
The dispute began in 2021. Grand, who lives in #UniversityHeights, wanted to pray with a #minyan, the quorum of 10 Jewish men required for certain communal prayers. Telling the Future Before It Happens
The ancient king of #Israel and Judah was also a prophet. 1,043 years before Christ, king David wrote that the Messiah would be pierced in his hands and feet.
Today, David is highly esteemed among Jews. Yet, Jesus, whom David spoke of, is not.

The prophet Isaiah reported 725 years BEFORE Christ about the beatings, blasphemy and scolding in the court of Caiaphas. Many other prophecies about Jesus are in the #Jewish scriptures, so no #Jew has an excuse for denying the Lord who redeemed them with his blood. And he came not for them only, but to save the entire world. And everyone has access to these same writings, for free, in many places (if they would only search). No one has an excuse to reject the Lord.

“But I’m a #Jew,” said Halpern. Her classmates looked at her in disbelief. She couldn’t be, one said. She had no horns.
Halpern was about to be swept up in a spiral of social and political crises in communist Poland, culminating in a government-sponsored #antisemitic campaign that stripped Jews of their jobs, schools, and citizenship, forcing some 13,000 to leave the country.
