Ah, so the answer to ‘why???’ is:
Dame Andrea #Jenkyns told the #Reform audience that they were like the “insomniacs” alert to the UK’s problems when the rest of the country was “sleepwalking” into decline.
I can see how at 3am this morning when she hadn’t written a conference speech this appeared to be a touch of genius…but in the cold light of day calling your supporters insomniacs???
It’s like watching a roadrunner cartoon where he pulls the pin on the grenade and then self implodes.
