    In case fans missed it, Takahashi Rie seems to be going all in on VTubing without directly using her name, which would instantly be pulling in tens of thousands of views instantaneously.

    Instead, she is embodying the persona of JELEE from the anime Jellyfish Can't Swim in the Night, and appears to be going the indie route. Or cosplaying the indie route.

    I am not even sure this is profitable in any way, since the anime is not even airing anymore. She may be doing this to expand her repertoire of skills to also include VTubing. Either way, this is a direct line for those in the know to interact with her in a way that would be impossible otherwise.
