@lpryszcz Thanks for saying so! #JBrowse 2 has so much more functionality than a traditional "linear" genome browser. Structural variant visualization, synteny/comparative genome visualization, and some pretty useful plugins (and more in development). See https://jbrowse.org/jb2/demos/ for demos.
