" 'My great fear, of course, is that with the release of that information, which I think will be devastating for Trump, he’s going to do everything in his power to distract,' Pritzker told The Associated Press in a wide-ranging interview on Wednesday. 'What does that mean? I mean, he might take us to war with #Venezuela just to get a distraction in the news and take it out of the headlines.'
"Pritzker, widely seen as among the top potential Democratic presidential contenders in 2028, also directed some of his sharpest criticism at members of his own party. He said the decision by seven Democratic senators and one independent to side with Republicans in a Senate vote to end the government shutdown was an 'enormous mistake' that played right into Trump’s hands.
" 'I’ve been on team fight from the very beginning,' Pritzker said. 'And I don’t appreciate when we’ve got Democrats who are caving in and doing basically what the Trump administration wants.' "

"I've always liked Pritzker; I've voted for him without hesitation based on his great policies, and his fiduciary plans that are pulling my state out of the bankruptcy caused by former Republican governor Bruce Rauner. I have always trusted Pritzker. Another note: Halloween is big here, but we are a city of about five million if you include the suburbs that are adjacent to the city, and about one and a half million of that population is Latin American. The Dia des los Muertos celebrations here are every bit as big as they are in SoCal, etc, and Nazi Barbie et al know that. And while the administration is the least culturally literate of any in my lifetime, and while they probably don't understand how deeply important this holiday is, especially as their family members are being kidnapped and disappeared and trafficked, and calling on their ancestors is ever more important, they (the new Nazis) know enough to recognize that the brown people will be gathered this weekend, and that they make a good target, just as the Nazis targeted Passover seders, etc.
