By the time I actually *had* time, he was asleep already on his garage chair. Didn't have the heart to wake him up..

Had to read my book alone. Catless. Woe 😢

To his credit, he started kneading *without* the daggers. Very smart boy.

10mins later, he even fell asleep on me!

- Check the cat - cat is asleep
- I leave the garage
- Turn at bottom of driveway to check again: no cat

#feralcat update: after being frightened halfway down the road by the lawnmower, (we had visitors coming) I expected #jasperthecat to politely vanish when they actually turned up.

Oh no. Instead he *greeted our guests*

- Accompanied them around the garden
(I left to get something, he was following a guest around!)

- Flopped under the table for an hour, while we had tea

- head-bonked everyone's legs for pets, then sat under each chair in turn

10/10 little cat butler 👍😂
