Had to stop reading #Collapse by #JaredDiamond after the chapter on Haiti and The Dominican Republic because he didn't even mention the debt imposed by France to compensate slave owners after the revold. After an omission like that I just cant trust the book.

Und stärkere, geografische Isolation geht mit mehr #Selbstverwaltung (& also Tendenzen zum #Föderalismus) einher, aber auch mit feindseligem #Dualismus (und also #Verschwörungsmythen) gegenüber Fremden und Wissenschaften, einschließlich der Medizin.
