My daughter's music group, #Eyrie, in Japan, on June 7th, will release an album through Universal Music Japan, titled, #Hintori, which translates to Phoenix, Firebird, Immortal Bird. In Japanese culture, it's also a symbol of hope and renewal.

They'll be touring later as well through Tokyo, Osaka, and Nagoya.

I'm so incredibly proud of Rina. She has amazing music talent and her music career is doing so great! She's the one in the middle in the group picture.

"Phoenix" was the life's work of Japan's world-renowned #manga artist Osamu #Tezuka, This is an official album produced with Tezuka Productions.

The album's preface has comments from Osamu Tezuka's eldest daughter, Rumiko Tezuka.

My daughter, Rina (reddish-orange shirt), has quite the music career in Japan.

In this video, her band, Eyrie, joins with other musicians to perform their original work.

I love listening to this, and it's not just because it's my daughter, but because it's the kind of music and performance that grabs my soul and makes me smile. Music has a special personal effect on me, and this performance does it for me.
