@rjf_berger measurability of common sense quantities in extreme conditions: yes, it gets tricky at some point! But pressure-facilitated superconductivity is not a one-lab effect. For experimentalists pressure has an operational meaning and you just apply enough of its cause.

I posted the poll because I'm curious if tapping into #crowdintelligence will give a result that ultimately will be the conclusion.
