And with that I've done every day of Jamuary! 👏 I'll probably doodle some goofy looking cat and upload the set onto my itch.io page. :,D

Jamuary is officially done for me. I made it to 26 tracks, ran out of steam towards the end 🫠 It was a really fun exercise to come up w/ a new idea each day! It also forced me to learn the Deluge & Virus more, probably the biggest win. And got some good ideas for exploration later

Maybe because I listened to nothing but SEGA music as a teen, I find the Genny instruments easiest to work with when I'm having brain fog. I'm afraid this sounds like most of my other Genny attempts but what's more fun than the ups and downs and loop-de-loops in the casino/circus theme levels in Sonic?

house idea! started out chopping some vocals, and came out of it with this short song.

It’s been a doomy week so here's a several minutes of improvised synth doom played on a Hyve Touch Synthesizer.

#Jamuary is coming to an end and altough I didn't upload a lot I enjoyed listening to many jam tracks. It's good to get the music out. Here is my #jamuary2024 contribution https://on.soundcloud.com/cLncxNQfy7E5RNKi9 #ambientmusic #drone

I was listening to the Disco Elysium OST earlier and tried to make something a little like that, mostly Whirling in Rags 12pm, but also my own thing.

Three weeks down, 21 tracks made! I’m about 3 days behind. Getting very hard to come up w/ stuff, esp when feeling under the weather. But I'm learning how to fit the Virus’ sounds into the mix, which is nice.

#Jamuary 24th - Time Signature: 24/8
One important learning from #Jamuary2024 is that it's always ok to share your work, even if it's something silly like this. I'm aware of all the flaws, but this helps me accept myself artistically.
Once it's public, all the flaws become even more evident, but that's ok. They're just more things I can work on improving.

A short one this time. I saw Worthikids mention something about sidechaining the dub to the music and thought "oh I can sidechain the meows?" and it's so crisp. Nice.

You better believe there's more #jamuary coming your way! Have yourself some #minimal #hypnotic #house this time.

I think I made another fave! Genny instruments again, this time pulled from the Ecco games.
