  1. @herag Proudhon was writing in the 1800s. His style, typical of the time, is strongly influenced by town square oratory and may be easier to parse when heard rather than read. There is an audio version read quite well by James Corbett (I was as surprised as anyone), that begins here with a brief bio of Proudon and some historical context for his thinking:

  2. @[email protected] But... never mind, no offence.... Your slightly condescending remark just annoyed me a little bit for a verrrry little moment. Even if I don't agree with all the conclusions and viewpoints of , I think this man is doing a great job, which I absolutely have to defend!

And..... whether he lives in Canada, Europe, Vietnam or Japan, this comment is absolutely nonsense ... Cheers 🎬

    > when you said "property" you meant "real estate".

Yes. I think that's pretty clear from the opening quote (from #Proudhon). I can't think of a way that "owning" one's own body could be theft ;) BTW Proudhon also said "property is freedom", when applied to personal belongings, a right of occupation in a home, use of a workplace etc. In case you're interested, #JamesCorbett podcasted Proudhon's book 'What is Property':
