In somewhat the spirit of "this chili recipe has cocoa powder, sugar, and flour, so I'm going to toss in powdered brownies that were a bit too dry and see what happens", here is a #NotRecipe for #炸醬麪 #jajangmyeon #zhajiangmian aka noodles in (fried) black bean sauce.
With explanations for substitutions and so on, because the point of not-recipes is much like talking about baking with ratios - the point is a springboard, not a to-do list.

Didn't know what to eat today so I just threw this quick #Jajangmyeon together. It's very basic and doesn't have any meat or much else besides aromatics but it's still good.
