CW: Jagged Alliance 2 is brutal
Man, #JaggedAlliance2 can be brutal.
It has very low fidelity graphics and doesn't even have pixelated sprite gore like Fallout. But there is so much story that systemic game design can produce even when you don't really see much.I just had my first big battle, defending a town against a military retaliation alongside a rebel militia.
And there were rebels shooting injured soldiers on the ground point blank, or running up to them to stab them. 😮 -
Making progress in #JaggedAlliance2
Man, taking the Drassen Mine is so much easier than taking the Airport. I wasted several days and a lot of health taking the airfield. Taking the mine was a matter of minutes with not a single injury.
I think the game could have been more explicit that taking the Drassen Mine should be your first major objective to not get broke.
But I'm really loving this game. Should have played it 20 years ago, but it's still awesome today.

Tak som včera konečne rozohral nový #JaggedAlliance3 a hneď na úvod ma tam úplne rozbil ten I.M.P. test, ako za starých dobrých čias. Už dlho som sa u hry tak dobre nezasmial 🤣 Ale koruna najlepších odpovedí zostáva #JaggedAlliance2. Na hlášky "Jednoduše stisknu "R" jako Raketomet" a "Psychickým Paprskem Smrti ho vytlačím ze silnice" za volantom spomínam bežne, keď stretnem nejakého blbca na cestách 😅
