me explaining another of my garden brew buckets:
"so this one is like a little ecosystem. there's water, & a bunch of kefir microbes & wild microbes from fruit peels & leaf mold. the microbes like to eat sugar & they also need air so you gotta stir 'em up real good every day or install a bubbler. if it smells like fricken horrible rot, then it's gone off & you just dump it in the yard. if it smells sour like kombucha, it's a living ecosystem!"

...well, it's been over a month and my brew is still alive! (i think!) it still smells sour like a kombucha, and not rotted. so i think that means it's still alive. i still vigorously stir it with a big stick every morning. every so often i add a little kefir, or sugar, or water.
i finally revealed it to my mom. she did *not* like the smell lol.
but she says her tomato plants this year are the biggest she's had in a while, so i credit myself & the application of the #JADAM brew. 😅

i can see how this whole "witch" thing got out of hand. i mean, i *am* going out into a secret back part of the yard twice a day and using an old broom handle to vigorously stir a literal bubbling funky brew of odd ingredients. and if anyone catches me, i start waving my arms around and yelling "it's medicine for the land! it's for the plants!"

Hey, if you do Korean Natural Farming and ESPECIALLY if you make content about it, probably ease up on all the fuckin acronyms. I'm familiar with it, I have parts of it incorporated in my daily life, and I STILL have trouble figuring out what I'm about to watch sometimes when the video title is
"JMS JADAM from IMO 1 and IMO 3 mixed with LPJ and JLF (with bonus LAB!) from WCA and SEA using only FAA and WCP!"
I didn't make a single one of those acronyms up, by the way. JFC.
