    CW: naturalist reading around the Christian Mary (Jesus' mum): Spong

    In the Christian #LiturgicalYear, we're now got a a woman giving birth. Everyone, and all of our ancestors, made it through some such event.

    #JackSpong in the video, from a naturalist (non-supernatural), historical (there was a Jesus) view, looks at how this woman was presented in the New Testament writings.

    One of Spong's ideas is that some stories of Jesus were developed later to make a liturgical year.
