When it comes to #jazz, I’m normally a hardbop guy & this is assuredly not that. But I am a guitarist & when #JohnMcLaughlin cuts loose, it’s something else: heavy, discordant, spiky, with Miles anchoring the melody over everything.
This is the #MoFi reissue & sounds properly three dimensional, very natural, with incredible dynamics.

Can't believe it's been 20 years today since Jack Johnsons In Between Dreams album was released.
This album shaped a lot of my teenage years, and is still one I regularly listen to.
I'm very thankful that it exists
