Exciting stuff at #IWOMP 2023 today! Bronis de Supinski presented the first US #exascale system, that is being deployed by Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and Hewlett Packard Enterprise.
The talk provided an overview of the preparations for LC’s first exascale system, as well as details of its system architecture. Throughout, the talk will explore considerations for energy efficiency in large-scale systems.

#IWOMP 2023 got off to a great start in Bristol yesterday, with an opening keynote from Prof David May, on the rich history of computing in the city, stretching back to Inmos, the transputer, and occam.

IWOMP is the famous annual workshop dedicated to the promotion and advancement of all aspects of parallel programming with #OpenMP.

Do you have #OpenMP related work that you would like to publish? Submit a paper to #IWOMP 2023! The theme this year is
"OpenMP: Advanced Task-Based, Device and Compiler Programming"
IWOMP 2023 will be hosted on Sept 11-15 by University of Bristol and will be colocated with #EuroMPI 2023. The proceedings will be published in Springer's Lecture Notes in Computer Science.
The submission deadline has been extended to Friday, May 13, 2023.
