One time my partner’s co-worker said his hair looked like “an explosion in a pillow factory” which is, of course, an awful thing to say but we still laugh about it years later. Well, when I woke up today my hair could realllly only be described that way. 😂

which is in the running as my favourite Stones #song; not sure why.It's a fine example from their vast catalogue of open tuning and misogyny, a strong narrative lyric and dazzling solo work from guest artist Wayne Perkins, but not really one of their immortals. Knew this would happen eventually: it's the oddball but weirdly uplifting 'Double Dutch' "by" Malcolm McLaren, the quotes meaning that Malcolm McLaren narrates it, organised its creation, and lifted its components from only the best sources (see The Boyoyo Boys' 'Puleng'). Look up the music video for some wowsers rope-skipping.
