Moved on to Trump's #Doral golf course in #Florida. Trump bought the property in 2012 out of bankruptcy for $150M, backed by a #loan from #DeutscheBank.
Asked about her role in the Doral sale, #Ivanka said: she received a phone call about the sale that was "very inconvenient timing" bc she was "in the hospital, or I was about to be in the hospital" w/her first child.

As we learned before #DeutscheBank was #Trump's largest creditor by far, & extended hundreds of million of dollars in credit to him 2011-2021.
#Ivanka said she only dealt w/ Trump's Deutsche Bank point person, Rosemary Vrablic, on projects like #Doral & the #OPO hotel in DC, & was only tangentially involved w/the #Chicago building.
Re the OPO. Real estate firm Colony Capital had planned on financing the deal in part, but backed out.
